Personal skin care

Personal skin care

Personal skin care is very important for all of us and differs from person to person. There are many people around the world with different thinking for personal skin care

- Some people believe that visiting parlors regularly is personal skin care.

- Some of them believe that personal skin care is just a matter of applying some cream or lotion on your skin.

- Others think that personal skin care is an event that happens once or twice a month.

Personal skin care is the process or procedure of attending to the needs of your skin by following a balanced routine.

In order to start your own personal skin care regimen, you need to determine your skin-type (oily, dry, sensitive, normal etc) and choose the best skin care products according to your skin type.

Cleansing is the first step of your personal skin care routine. Try to select the best cleanser for your skin. Cleanser contains oil , water and a wetting agent called surfactants Oil and surfactants are beneficial in removing dirt and oil from your skin and water then flushes it out, leaving your skin clean and shiny. Try to use soap free cleansers with the best Luke warm water for cleansing but avoid over cleansing for your good.

The second thing on the personal skin care routine is exfoliation. Exfoliation is the process of removing old dead skin cells. Removing dead skin cells is very important for keeping your skin looking fresh and for increasing the effectiveness of all personal skin care products. Try to exfoliate your skin at least once a week if your skin is dry or sensitive, in case of oily skin you can exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week.

Moisturizing your skin is also very important in personal skin care regimen. Do not use too much moisturizer as this may clog your pores. And end up harming your skin.

Always use sunscreen in order to protect your skin from ultra violet rays.
