- Try to choose salicylic or benzoyl peroxide cleansers for your skin.

- Avoid scrubbing your face with clothe or anything else, while washing, always try to use your hands for this purpose.

- Try to choose mild, non-comedogenic moisturizers, for your skin. There are oil-free moisturizers on the market that contain anti-bacterial agents for acne-prone skin. This type of product may be your best option.

- Avoid wearing heavy makeup. Also, try to use an oil-free foundation.

- In order to save your skin from dark spots and scars, avoid squeezing, pinching, or picking your pimples.

- Use of essential fatty acids is particularly important to people with inflammatory conditions such as eczema and acne.

- Make a healthy diet menu by including fruits and vegetables in to it. What you eat may have a direct or indirect affect on the male hormones which may play a part in acne.

- In order to get healthy acne free skin, try to make your digestive system healthy by including high-fiber snacks like raw nuts, raw seeds, and dried fruit, such as dates, and figs.

- Try to drink plenty of fluids, most preferably the recommended 8 glasses of water a day. Water is the best natural cleanser that helps eliminate toxins and excess oil from your skin.

- Do not try to touch your acne affected skin every so often as your hands might be carrying harmful bacteria that can trigger an outbreak
